Best set-up for ascending and descending tom runs! Tough to go from right to left and back round to the right again to play a simple run from high to low. Lots of wasted motion and a ton of real estate to cover between the CT's and the rack toms. High to low is the optimum set-up.

Well, I will try it both ways. But the ct's sound so much different than the regular toms do. Right now the sound I get from hitting them with the floor tom sounds pretty cool. But I will try moving them to the left. Also remember, Im no pro, just a guy that dont want to work, just bang on the drums all day! ( todd Rungren)
