Something like these !i The red kit has the Ct`s topside !i

Thats what I thought you meant. I have never been in love with that look, allthough it might be fun to play them like that. They just look too overloaded or something. Besides, I went out of my wat to get the stand for the ct's. I would like to use that third mount hole for cymbals though. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you!

Jeff!

Get a NICE pic of them set up in playing position, and put 'em up in the Drum Image Gallery. FABULOUS job on the refurbish/restore! To borrow a quote from "MECUM Auto Auctions"... I would consider those "Resto-Modded"! Positively STUNNING!!

Final pics of this very lenghty project. I included a pic of them the day they came home last August I think. They are set up weird for the pics, not sure how I will use the concert toms yet. Thanks for following the thread!Jeff C

Jeff - I've been refurbishing old kits for a long time, I think you've actually broken a barrier with these. Those drums are worth much more, as they stand, than they were when they left the factory. It's a hard and fast rule in the market place that rewrapped kits are -worth less- than original ones. Your kit blows that rule away like it wasn't there.

Super, great job.

Respect...

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Jeff seeing these finished really made my day! Outstanding work my friend. Those script badges look sweet on there. Enjoy them.... you've certainly gone way beyond the basic rewrap and restoration. Wow wish I had a smidge of your talent. Well done!

Try the concert toms to your left maybe over the hi hat. Or thereabouts. It'll give ya a nice run down the toms!! Or to your right over the floor tom sorta. Try a few spots and see which fits you the best!!

Tommy, I will get a good pic for the gallery. I need to experiment with the concert toms to see how I want them positioned. Once I get them set up the way I want I will get the picture. Thank you for your very nice compliment, it really means alot to me.

John, same to you. You guys are the true gurus here. You have made drumming your life. Im just a guy that started up again after 20 years off. And, I never got very far 20 years ago when I did play. So hearing this from you guys is really making me feel good. I am very pleased to have "fit in" with all of you true working drummers, damn glad to know all of you.

Glenn, you must have posted while I was thanking John and Tommy. You my friend have been there the whole time for this and have helped me more than anyone, so a big thank you for all you have done. One of these days, Im gonna head East and see a bunch of you guys in one trip.

I have the ct's just over the floor tom and I think thats where they will stay.

One more thing, to everyone,, these drums sound absolutly amazing! I love them. Even my fake snare sounds great and I havent even drilled the vent hole in it yet.LOL!

Thank you!

Jeff, that line reminds me of, Tim Matheson in Animal House!

Likewise my friend~! You've been such a huge help to me as well with my clamshell projects and everything else! It's a pleasure to watch you work on these. And to call you a friend! :) Many thanks!

Yes~! would be great to see you all if you travel out this way. BBQ and a big jam session. Plenty of drums, guitars, basses, amps.... everything to go around. Would be fun times. Excited

Wow, the drums came out fantastic. I would put the concert toms to the left of the mounted toms if they are smaller. But regardless, they look great!
