That gives me a good idea for a design. I think a program for designing business cards would work great for this but I dont have one. I will see what I can do with Microsoft Word.

Avery has business card printing paper kits at Staples type stores and the program for print layout is right on your computer already.
in microsoft werd:
Select TOOLS; letters and milings; envelopes and labels.
on labels tab, select options.
set the printer options for the printer type.
select label products/avery standard.
sroll through the product list to find business cards ( the kit I have handy is 5376- 5160 is also a popular one)
click ok
click new document
Werd 2007 can just click the mailings tab.
download templates from avery at www.avery.com/software
step by step tool www.avery.com/wizard

Glenn, Hack and Scott, thanks for the nice comments. I found a good source to buy six more badges at a good price. Think I will get some work done on the snare drum shell this weekend. Whats the best way to determine the height of the strainer and butt? I was just going to measure a few snares and take the average.

Man These Look Awesome!!! Koa Is Amazing Wood!!
1967 ludwig acrolite snare
1972 ludwig vistalite clear 22/14/13/14 matching snare
1970's MIJ tempro pro snare
Finally had time to do a little work on the snare. I bolted the lugs on and installed the heads so I can figure the height of the strainer. Now just install strainer, do the edges and snare bed. Then all I have is to veneer and spray and Im done. Going to do the edges today (should be working on cabinets) so hopefully it wont be too long.
