Hey, no problem! It has to look like a professional did it. Its cold this morning so I will get it done this afternoon. Then I will remove the masking and get some new pics up on the thread. Should be able to ship out Monday no problem.

Please.... We need a before picture of the jazzfest.

Will do. It's a B/O Jazzfest shell and complete hardware (no heads or snares) that I picked up for cheap at an auction. It has silver sparkle wrap on it (which I will strip) so heads should go on just fine after Jeff adds the veneer. The J-fest has an early 70's 3-ply shell (with rerings, the later 6-ply J-fest shells didn't have rerings) and is finished inside with Granitone. The other shells have white interior paint, but I'm going to leave the J-fest interior with the factory applied Granitone.

This drum kit is going to look and sound awesome. I'm so psyched, I can't wait to put it back together, see it finished and play it!

Well as Tom Petty would sing, "the waiting is the hardest part"

Promise, these will ship tomorrow. But for now, look over the pics, you see ANYTHING wrong, I want to hear about it now. Need closer shots, you got it!

I know you said you were going to paint the interiors. I agree with the bass drum but I wouldnt paint that 15", its to nice. If you do, just dont tell me. Use coated heads and forget they dont match. Heck you have a granitone snare anyway.

Thanks again John, I cant tell you how much this job was appreciated.

Thank you, thank you!

Please tell me if you see something you dont like!

Thank you!

Jeff - The drums look great in the photos. I'm not going to be a stickler anyway, if it's got a few imperfections, it's all good. The kit is composed of 50 + year-old shells... they're vintage.

No worries... can't wait to see them in-person!

Thanks yet again,

John

Those shells are SOOOO PRETTY! I keep going back again and again to look at the pictures. John, with the hardware on that is going to be an amazing kit!

I see some specs of dust in the photos. Ya, I cant wait to see them with some chrome. It will be a really nice kit with a matching snare!

Thank you!
