Sprayed some shells today

Loading...

We have some club dates here, I did a mahogany veneer with cinnamon stain.

Pic one, new mahogany veneer complete and ready for stain.

Pic 2, stain is complete, ready for level sealer.

Pic 3, one coat of level sealer that was sanded.

Pic 4, three shells with 4 coats of level sealer, ready to be sanded and top coated with gloss conversion varnish.

That was my day. Oh I fixed the air conditioner, installed a new filter in moms water service and had a beer with mom. Watched my Bears win! Good day.

As always JC, looking good!! I like your choice of stain for these...Is this your kit or are you doing work for someone?

Keep up the good work!!

I see a lot of people try to re-do or match ludwig's mahogany finishes from days gone by. they usually just never look right. whatever you did looks right on target to me. your professionalism shines through on these. i'm a fellow enthusiast of wodd refinishing. love what you did here..
