Guys,

You were both right, Blairndrums and EricP were referring to the picture where Ringo is wearing Maureens red rain coat on the Rooftop- Jan. 1969. Drumaholic was referring to the picture finally showing the stamp on his hi hats where they were rehearsing for Ed Sullivan Miami- Feb 1964.

Thanks anyway for confirming what had I already said.

So I hope from now on, any further discussion here will be centered on the subject of Ringo's cymbals, and not any subject as off-topic, trivial, and irrelevant what we just had to deal with here.

Hi guys, new on the forum but have been following this post religiously.

I have a set of very early 60's A Zildjian 14" hi-hats that sound JUST like all of the albums. About 850g each and have that bright, but sloshy sound. Also have a Super Zyn 20" with 4 rivets, and a heavy A Zildjian 18" like Ringo's on the way.

Looking at these shots, am I seeing funny or does the bell shape of these two cymbals look different, like, not the same cymbal different?

Is that a stamp on the bottom hi hat?

Also clearly shows the 4 rivets in the mystery cymbal, could be a ZYN or KAMALA

December 15, 1963- taping for thank your lucky stars-- Super Zyn?

Money Shot... that does not look like any Zildjian stamp that I have ever scene. Is this the Paiste 602? Maybe he put it away after this until the White Album or something. Does not sound like the cymbal you hear on Rubber Soul or Revolver but who knows.
