Hey Rockdrum,

I've been folowing this thread since you opened it years ago. I love the Black Panther wrap, as it was the finish of my very first drum set I bought almost 40 years ago. I recently built a J-M kit, that the finish is very reminiscent of the black panther, almost as a tribute to that first kit. Hope you don't mind me posting a pic so you can see.

wow! that's utterly monumental. you must have needed a builder's permit to erect it!

that is a truly sensational kit - please post a vid of yourself playing it :)

Nope. Not on the ones I have at least.

That's awesome. I just got a BP kit.

Wish I could find a snare!

I've only seen or heard of an extremely small handful of guys who have BP snares. Like, I could probably count them on the fingers of one hand of ones I have seen online. Doesn't mean they aren't out there. Just have to be vigilant with continuously looking! :)

That's just his everyday gigging setup. I had a Black Panther set as my first kit. I remember it fondly, even though I had to pry heads on and off two of the toms.

A great looking set!

I'd love to add a 24" kick and an 18" Floor to my kit....

i have a 22-13-16 3-ply from the early 70s and it's an amazing sounding (and looking) drumkit....
