Hello Mr. RJDrums.

I was putting together a black Ludwig The Band mach lug set and acquired a 16x16 black panther mach tom that someone said you may be interested in.

I just missed out on a 20” Black Panther floor tom in basically near mint condition on Ebay. I wanted it badly, but it was too close to Christmas and I am tapped out of funds. I would have had the money 2 weeks from now, but right now I didn’t. I know I will regret it over the upcoming years from time to time, but alas, I didn’t have enough money to purchase it this week and that’s how it goes…..

Rock - other than Neil Peart, I've rarely seen a set-up as elaborate as that one. Do you play with a band? I'm only asking because I rely heavily sometimes on being in visual contact with the other musicians. I watch, as well as listen to, what the other guys are doing. If I had to play, in a band situation, essentially running blind, (can't see nobody, nobody can see me,) it would make the job that much harder.

I'm almost afraid to ask... have you ever played/gigged that kit out? Set-up and break-down must be a bee-atch-and-a-half. Roadies and a moving van at least!

Amazing collection of drums.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

That drumset is Disneyland. I want to visit it and play and play and play. Love that deep snare. Wow!

Purdie Shuffle: No, I don't gig with this kit, are you kidding me? I would be setting up and tearing down for more hours than I would have been playing songs for. Laughing H

I've been working and busy for a number of years so haven't played in a band in a number of years. I have gigged with about half this kit.....once. Other times, much less drums and cymbals. ;)

I've gigged this as a 3 piece with 2 cymbals and a pair of hi-hats at the smallest to an 8 piece with 8 cymbals and 2 pairs of hi-hats at the largest.

Like She just mentioned, it's like Disneyland. You just go and make a very wide variety of noises with all the different sound options.

i love it! just rember, drum sets are like drummers, no too are alike and being diffrent is what makes the drum world go around. i put my 77 ludwigs on my pearl icon rack because im playing these baby's when im giging. sizes are 8-10-12-13-14-15 and 16 inch floortom. it cuts my set up time in half and is so much easy'er when i transport. luv the gong, nice touch!

I dont know why but it reminds me the "Dunwich Horror"...A masterful piece from master author H.P. Lovecraft...To make the story short: A guy had a monster on his yarn and the thing started growing and growing and he had to feed the beast with cows and goats and whatever was available at the moment...Humans too? Read the story, guys!!!!Chewie:
