Glad to see you got those, you got them for about 50 bucks more than what a good cond desirable wrap MIJ would have cost in the U.S.You could not have bought a more unique kit for 300.00 U.S. in my opinion, and you still did really well even if you have to spend a few bucks fixing them up.Now that you have those you may have to start up a 70's rock band,if nothing but to complete the look.Hell, you could probably make money renting them out for Video and films. Can't wait to seem them cleaned up and ready to play.

Absolutely, 300-400 bucks a week for rentals to video and movie companies, with a $5000 insurance gaurantee on them. That way if they damage them, you get to clean up as that is just a rare kit to have, especially in Kiwi country...

Ok so I got a hold of the drums, and was pleasantly surprised there were no cracks at all through the shells, these are definitely some tough acrylics! The Kingbeat snare mechanism works! I love the sound of that snare! Very responsive! Excited The tom mount works perfectly too. The shells on the toms are quite a bit thinner than the kick drum and floor tom. The glue has failed miserably on these and I need to reglue has anyone done this before? The lug photo is the worst of the damage on the kit apart from the holes in the floor tom someones customized it I don't know why?

Congrats, sounds good!

And welcome, too, to the 'Club of KingBeat-Fans'.

It's seems to be always the same with those 12" rack toms: the only places at both of my STAR drumsets, where damages (= scratches) have happened before, are the areas where the rack tom could get in touch with the hoops/ screws on the upper side of the snare drum. Same like yours. Stupid previous owners.

You might already know that: at the snare strainer there are missing the bow nuts at the end of those two threaded bars: M6 should be working there (I've seen at other KingBeats fitting 'normal' nuts as well, but the exactly ones are bow nuts).

Very Nice! Now, check your local phone book for Acrylics dealers and companies that work with and/or sell acrylics. That will be the way to find ont how to re-glue the seam. Are all of the seams loose?

No it's just the 12" and 13" toms that need glueing, I'm gonna get onto that in the next wee while. There are lot's of acrylics manufacturers where I live so shouldn't be too hard!

Ok so it's taken a long time to get this finally posted... Had a 7.2 earthquake and moving to a new town to contend with... Anyway here's the clearlite looking good. Funnily enough I just bought a premier and it came with a mid 70's tama snare stand hi hat stand and kick pedal which fit perfectly on this kit.
