Just found this thread. And I just found out about The Eagle kit. Well if anybody is interested, there is one for sale out of three of the sold kits in Sweden. Here:

In Swedish of course, ask me if you want help. No price since he doesn't know the value.

I think the Swedish kit would be worth less here, as I'm sure it's forgotten American English by this time... electricit

Drum Bug: I turned down a 'really' nice, near mint one a couple years ago for $1000.00. Sometimes I think I should have picked it up. This one had the deep (6.5"?) wood snare. I heard later it went for $900.00.

When it was offered to me, the price had been firm.

I have a similar 5-piece set in very good condition. It's a beautiful set of drums which I acquired in the early 90's but have rarely been played.

I live in Toronto (Canada) and I am very interested in selling.

Please contact me if you want more information.

By the way : i'm living in France... :o

And thanks for your interest, it's a very cool drumset !!

There were actually 2 for sale here in Canada a while back..One in Ontario,Canada, and the other in my province of Quebec, Canada..Both kits went for under $1000..Awesome kit for collectors, and power toms to boot ! Early 80's classic rock sound from bands like REO SpeedWagon !

I own a complete set of the Ludwig 75th anniversary Eagle drums including a 16" tom tom, but I would prefer to sell the kit as a unit and not break it up.

I would be happy to sell the kit at a reasonable price, but the shipping would be extra from Toronto, Canada. The set includes cases.

Thanks!!

Thanks for your proposition Neil !

You're right : don't break it up, it will be hard to sell apart.

I'm searching a 16' only with inlay.

Eventually, i'll be ready to bye a floor tom in natural, thermogloss if possible. One is still available on Reverb.com but it's 170 dollars just for the shipping.

So, i'm reflecting... !!! Mind Blowi
