Ludwig Drum Set Eagle Kit

Those kits should have been made in Chicago. The first keystones had Chicago on them. Does your set have that on the badges?

These were made in 1984 ONLY in Chicago with the first of the large keystone badges. And yes, they are the 75th anniversary kits. Natural maple with the eagles was the only finish and they were only available in "power" sizes.

Yes, all the 75th anniversary kits date back to 1984. It was also the year that Ludwig reissued the gold keystone badges with the script logo (only larger than the original 60's keystone badges). You should hang on to that kit. It's a "bute"!

BTW...this Ludwig Dude is not me.....

This is 4 year old post coming back and the other "Ludwig Dude" has not posted in two years.

So it is safe to say he will not be around.

In all fairness to Ludwig_Dude I will change that user name
