The only thing missing on the snare drum is the throw-arm for the micro-sensitive. If anybody has one of these, please contact me.

They used to be available as a reproduction item for about $20.00. I think by the same guy who was making the Rogers bread and butter lugs. Good luck, looks like a fun project.

Kona - thanks for the lead...

Here's a little progress report:

Snare is wrapped! I still have to detail the tension rods and find a set of snares, but it's all assembled and it looks GREAT! I love the new version of burgundy sparkle. Dark, rich color, very 'classy' looking against the the chrome over brass hardware.

Here are some shots... I'm starting the rack tom tomorrow/Monday. Look for more pix soon.

John, that is gorgeous! I retract my statement about preferring tangerine over burgundy...I think I want both. :p

Can't wait to see the rest!

Lynn - the second photo shows off the color the best. The others, because of using a flash, indoors, look a bit muddier than it looks in real life. The second shot captured the color great. Bev picked it out and we both really like it a lot. Classy, like solid black, or red glass... the new burgundy doesn't disappoint. It's different, but very cool in its own right.

Happy with the wrap choice...
