Mike, apparently that's the way this kit was sold originally, snare, bass and tom. I'm still looking for a floor tom to make it a full set though. Keep your peepers open for me.

Congrats on the WMP bass drum! Pix when the kit is done please.

Not yet, Shaun. We're going to sit down later and check out Jammin Sam and maybe Precision Drum. If she settles on something, I'll order it tomorrow.

From Purdie Shuffle

My wife wants to pick the color for the kit! She's never asked before, but because she's always so supportive of my drum mania, I didn't have the heart to tell her no. I've given her a range of wraps to choose from. Any one of them will look appropriate on the drums. Now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed she chooses the Tangerine on her own!

Make sure you show her a very large hi-res picture of Dolfan's kit. ;) You know, so she gets a "subliminal" idea of what Tangerine looks like.

Can't wait to see them, regardless of wrap.

That's why I sent you the 'thank you' Tama snare! Has it arrived yet? Hope it makes you feel better about passing the RB drums on to me.

The hardware on the RB kit is all there, minor pitting, nothing broken or missing. It'll look new when I'm done with it. I have a bench buffer and rouge that I use to do a pro job on the lugs etc.

Beverly picked a color! And... I like her choice too!

Modern Burgundy sparkle! 'Merlot'.

I'm going to order the wrap tomorrow! What do you guys think? I like her choice. Classy color, it's rich, deep.

That seems like a nice color. Maybe will look like a darker type ruby sparkle. That should look great. I wish Precision had some pics of set's with there wraps Like Jammin Sam so we can actually see it on a kit. Ohhh, and I am still thrilled with the selection of wrap you suggested for my kit. I get a lot of compliments on it. Sam is useing pics of my set to show his vintage sky blue pearl wrap. 2nd page of vintage SBP on drums.
