BTW I put all evans g2 heads on my 4 toms and a evans emad 2 kick and a Evans ST Dry Coated Snare Drumhead on my DW solid shell snare on my drum kit at our jamhole. per your recomendation. Thanks buddy! They sound kick a$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This shell is going to a professional auto restoration shop to be booth painted by a professional painter with 30+ years of experience next week. I am super excited! It is going to be well worth the wait. She is all taped up and ready to go!

I will definitely post pics when I get it all put together!

All assembled. It looks great. Not good enough light in my house to get good pics tonight. I tried, and it just doesn't do the drum justice.

Will wait for some natural light tomorrow. I am very proud of this drum, and is sounds incredible (already knew that though)!! Thanks SO much for all the help on this one guys! I am very happy with the way it turned out!

Next up....that 50's Radio King!

"Natural Original Finish" would have been clear maple. I think this looks WAY better than natural maple...plus Slingerland never offered a clear maple during this era (to my knowledge). It looks super classy in black (imho). Thanks for the complement GD!
