Rogers? Lugs? What? Last viewed: 8 seconds ago

Is this or is it not Rogers? I've looked this pic over (and a few others) and cannot put my finger on this one. It looks like Rogers, but I've never seen those lugs on a script kit. Input?

There is a reference in The Rogers Book to a ridged bread and butter lug that looked similiar to the 1955 Slingerland lug... the picture is on page 113 in that book. That lug is shown on a low number Cleveland Luxor.

It only mentions and shows a double ended snare lug but... your lug seems to kind of match what the lug would look like single ended.

Might be worth a look... or it might not even be close.

I looked at those, also. I don't see the resemblance. I looked at every pic in that book. It 'sort of' looks like a 380 lug...sort of. This one has stumped me.

The ends (opposite of the threaded end) looks like a Gretsch to me

THAT's what I saw. I know that at times, Slingerland and Gretsch and Rogers all shared equipment. That's what I'm trying to nail down.

Well, how about this? I am looking at these and I want to be certain of what I am getting into. Thanks Michael, for bringing this to the forum. I was thinking about it, but wanted to get your take first. (I highly value your opinion)

Guy says there is a paper tag in the snare, but it is too faded to make out much more than "Rogers", or he just does not know what to look for.

Yeah... that looks like the B&B in the book. Drawn brass, 1 1/2" screw spacing.
