I went and got these today. They are blue and olive toms with classic lugs. The kick drum appears to be a MIJ. How hard would it be to find a kick to go with the toms and around how much? Is that tom mount correct? I'm pretty sure it isn't. The wrap isn't perfect, but not horrible.
Picked up some Ludwig Drums for $100...what do I have?
Looks like they added those slot style mounts to work with the MIJ bass drum tom mount. Ludwig did have that style mount for concert toms in the 70's, but those don't look the same to me...
That clip mount is Ludwig-usually used with timbales or concert toms. I would assemble the missing parts and play the set as-is until a bass drum shows up. And red sparkle drums do show up as orphans, often as marching drums. Might find a 20" or 24"!
Clean those rascals up and play them! You did well!

The added tom mount looks like the ones used on the vistalites. I agree with Mike, shine them up and play...play...play. Nice deal for $100

Thanks everybody! So what series/year do you think these are and what kind of wood? The wrap is coming apart in a couple places and has some scratches and dings. I'm tempted to find a kick drum regardless of color and re-wrap them all. Opinions?
I have a 14by 22 SHELL....Ludwig....red sparkle....1960 date inside....no badge...3 SMALL holes from rail being moved...PM IF Interested..thx
Maple inside...so..that would work....

I'd say most likely early 1970's drums. The shells are probably maple/poplar/mahogany (inside to outside) but might be maple/poplar/maple. Either way the majority of the shell would be poplar as was the case with all Ludwig 3 ply drums.
A red sparkle bass drum should be relatively easy to come by and, unless the wrap on those is really trashed I'd leave them be and add a matching bass drum.
That tom holder isn't the one you'd usually see used for double headed toms but is a Ludwig model and could have been special ordered although it's more likely that someone changed the brackets on the toms at some point. If that happened you would see two extra holes inside the toms. If there are no additional holes then those would be original.
