I noticed that there was a bit of interest for Amati drums somewere around this forum. I had such a kit for my first drums and even though I do not really regret giving them away a few years ago, I thought it might be interesting to post here a photocopy of an old Amati catalog. As far as I know it is hard to find official materials about these drums since they are not being produced anymore, so I hope this helps a little.

Do you know as to where ,I can get parts ??? My e-mail is albertsdrumming@gmail.com

Hello and greetings from Estonia!

Here is my beautiful Amati Kraslice drum kit from 1982 in Gold Silk finish.

As you know, shells are made out of Behringer beech, which is tonally right between birch and maple, so you get good from the both worlds!

Sizes are:

BD 22"x14"

RT 12"x 8"

RT 13"x 9"

FT 16"x16"

SD 14"x 5"

All drums are in 9/10 condition. Bearing edges were re-cut to 45°w/Roundover. Original hardware and hoops. On the snare drum there is a vintage Ludwig P-85 strainer. These drums sound really nice, you can here them on recordings by clicking HERE.

Hi,

I also owned and played this kit with same color in 80´s.

Where have those times gone?
