Agree! I've seen people make models of drums before. But you took it to a level I've never seen. Amazing details and seeing the progress makes you really appreciate all the time and dedication involved! Thanks for sharing this with us here!

Amazing. Simply amazing....

Is this something you do as a hobby or is it your career? Also, did you keep a log book of the specifics:

1- How many hours you worked on this.

2- Complete list of individual parts.

3- Money spent on every piece of material used.

IOW...pertinent information if you did decide to open a business full time (assuming you are not doing so already)

Thanks a lot,

Well, I'm a professionnal model maker, architectural, toys, exhibition, etc..

It's the first time since the original one made in 1988 that I work again on a drum.

1. I don't know how many hours, but a lot... It's always the same with the first time I do something, finding the right way to make pieces, creating the masterpiece then the molds. I'm not a drummer, I was looking for the right details, etc. So, now, if you order a Ludwig drums, it could be easier and take less time to make it.

I started to work on late december and finish it on May 1st. It wasn't a full time job...

I wanted to make a drum for a long time but not for me, no place at home, and waiting for an opportunity.

2. you want the listing of Eric's drumset? or all the parts requested to make it?

3. I can't tell you, it's a whole thing. I don't have a catalogue. If someone wants a miniature drum kit. I ask for pictures of the whole thing and give a price and time to make it. Usely, payment in 2 or 3 times.

I used paper, polyurethan resin, aluminium, steel, plastic, mini screws

A trick that I can give you. Even the stands look real, they are very light in weight, remind it's a model, and it took time to find the right way to stabilize them and I had an idea.... So I put mini magnet under each feet of the stand and under the drums there is a large sheet of magnetized inox. So, by this way, the cymbals, the stands with toms, especially the Simmons pads stay right on their place... And it's pretty cool.

So, I'm open to anykind of new challenge, Neil Peart, Alex Van Halen, John Bonham...
