Vintage drums are SO much cooler than new ones! just look at that beauty! Look at those details. Does anything of today compare in terms of classic styling? I think not.

Welcome to the forum!Burger Kin

Well I want my ten munutes back that I wasted looking for the introduction forum. Anyway, I'm a booking agent now but made my living pounding skins back in the dark ages of the sixties and seventies. Researching selling a vintage Sonor kit. band2

Another newbee landing in on this here whats become the intro page :)

Took me a few minutes to get here :(

I'm a full time drummer. Been playing all my life.

I have a Rogers early 70's Holiday kit that i've had for 10 years and i just bought a Ludwig 67 kit. I also have newer drums but i wont bore you with those.

Looking forward to learning, sharing, finding and offering solutions.

And another newbie finds the resurrected (or zombie) intro page... I've been playing on and off since dirt was the newest craze.

Hey all of you "newbies" glad to have you all in the forum.

The scene here for the most part is much different then other drum forums. It remains a down to business place.

Most important, everyone does welcome new members, but not like other places where the crowd welcomes you with post after post... Very few sappy "Welcome this is drum heaven" or "You have come to the right place" posts.

That is the main reason the welcome section was turned off!

Also, there is very little drama here, which by the way is fun reading on some forums!

Without sounding conceded and so my head still fits through the door, "This is the best and largest vintage drum forum on the Internet. You have just entered drum heaven"Laughing H
