That's pretty cool. What does NARD mean/stand for?

As long as we're showing 1936 L&L marchers, here's two of our drumline's 16x12's along with an 18" tenor. Our line has a total of four of these snares, two 30" basses, and two 18" tenors, all 1936 L&L. I found all these drums covered in decades of dust in the attic of our armory. Just had to clean them up and replace the original calfskins with Remo Fibreskyns and they were ready to go. Tuned low with the original gut snares, these sound thunderous coming down the street.

I love all the rope tension drums. Here's my modest entry: mid-60's Slingerland Super Tension parade drum 12 x 15. Nothing fancy but sounds fantastic to me.

Picked this up for $27 + $23 for shipping, single ply mahogany 10x14 shell. Plan to have it made into something 8" deep or less.

Beautiful drum Heraldo. I have been wondering about these drums. Do they hold a tight enough tuning?

Here's my 10x14 1949 Gretsch Parade drum. The finish was in bad shape when I received it - I put a nice Tung Oil finish on it...but I did nothing other than gently clean the hoops and hardware. All the original parts are here - except a key for the holder. I have an era correct key but it's not pictured here.
