How much did that set of 5 cost you? Do you like them? I have a kit I'm finishing restoring right now with 2 Keystone (kick, floor)and 2 b/o badges (12 & 13" toms). I gave $75 for this at a garage sale along with 2 vintage 14" zildjian hats and a 20" slingy bass drum. The slingy bass drum has been painted. it looks like it has some sort of blue pearl under the red paint. I recently bought a 24" ludwig silver sparkle bass shell and 3 silver sparkle concert toms I am planning on addin to my 20" silver sparkle double bass kit which has 6 toms already. I had already found most of the lugs, spurs, tom mount etc.... I am going to just use those on this kit and go back to the silver sparkle later.

Ok im taking inventory. Can anyone tell me the sizes(length) of the tension rods all of these 1969 Luddy shells: 16-12-13-14"snare ??

Ok Y'all I finally got something done on my shells. I sanded all the excess glue off of the shells and filled the very few small places the wrap took wood with.

I have been inventorying parts for a few days too. I ended up takin all the oem luddy t's and claws off of my kids bass drum. I put some back on the kids bass off of 16" 1st act bass drum I bought at a pawn shop for $5, then I found some more claws in my tension rod orginizer, and I know where some more are also. I put some on a royce drum kit I gave my nephew. Im gonna go over there and swap them out asap. I have a bunch of large classic lugs.

I got my wrap samples from Sam. Can't decide.....This morn I cleaned out my drum heads and gave 30 away on craigslist. I also hooked my P.A. up to my jambox/ipod cradle!

I Ordered and payed for 5 badges and they sent me 6:) Ill email him and see what he says.

I say go with citrus mod.....why? How many of those do you see compared to psychedelic red and mod orange lately? Keep in mind though....there is a reason that citrus mod is the rarest of the rare......:D

Personally, I do like the mod orange color the best, but.....as I said above, I'd go for the citrus mod just because...
