If you were to get wood filler ( one that is natural wood color ) you could fix that up. You dug in a little, but I don't think you've gone too deep....

Yea that's a 5"x14" Acrolite. From the above shot you can tell by the spacing between the lugs.

That doesn't look like a 4" shell, looks more like a 5". I wouldn't be surprised if a 5"x14" Acrolite shows up at your door.

Not to my knowledge. I believe Acrolites have only been made as either 5"x14" or 6.5"x14".
