Have Precision Drum make up new wood hoops for you. They can do the inlay groove the original width for you too. They made hoops for my D-20 and they did an excellent job (while I waited!)

Because I'm on the other side of the world I think the cost would be double what I paid for the kit, unfortunately. I'll be having a good look locally though. Something might show up

From Fayray

Well there you go! I could not find one the same earlier in the week. This looks to be a single mounted tom set up. I wish the snare was with it as I reckon I'll be needing some reference to help get the throw off complete and working on mine.Someone will find the tomb of the missing floor toms one day. What a day hat will be:D

Laughing H The tomb of the missing floor toms !..No doubt !

I think i may have to use that one next time the subject comes up :D

I bought a C series kit with a missing rack tom. The guy who sold it, bought it from a father who made a deal with his son he could keep one item of the kit...

Ill dig into the library to see if I have a catalog for you.

This is a pic of the strainer on a ten lug Hoshino K snare that I recently bought. The strainer is very similar how ever the throw doesn't taper to a point, it is simply square. I think the shell is quite similar if not the same? This snare has some get up and go, I like playing it emperor batter head and all, considering I am wooden snare guy.

Wow that's hardcore, what size and wrap are you left with?

I bought the 20” kick and 14” floor. Made a nice groove kit still. The wrap was “Gold”

It looks close that strainer but its different. The Yamaha strainer is a hefty solid piece.

My buddy sends a picture asap.

Perfect! Thanks so much. It's as I suspected the screws at the pivot point on my snare must've fallen out at some point and someone put one long nail through instead. It can't have a shaft running right through as it can't flip up properly. It needs one screw on either side. As a result it has got quite bent but I'll see if I can resurrect it.

Thanks again

Andrew
