From Mr.Lud

Okay more news....I showed the old man this and is there a chance they had a different tag? Like maybe a drum shop piece but it looked different? As soon as I showed him he said no that's not it. Also I believe this is a red wrap shell too. Not painted. Anyone confirm this?

It is possible that George Hamilton The Drum Shop changed their tags yearly or only a couple of times. Your snare has their stamp inside, that`s the only place it would get it. I`m quite certain your drums came from George Halmilton`s drum shop at one time !!

If the old man is so sure that`s not it,..How come he can`t tell you what it looked like ??

Awesome thanks much. No he said it was a brass tag. He said it may have said the drum shop. However when I showed him that he said right away it wasn't shiny at all.

This is really neat. This kit shouldn't even exist! lol. This is getting cooler by the day. I can't wait to get a the whole kit online.

Who has any idea what they were thinking when they made this. Its def a very very unique kit. I am going to start getting some calls going out and seeing what we can dig up about it. See what it is worth, clearly its a original finish and we have every single original piece to it. Who knows we need to get all kinda questions answered yet. I figure we can work on them one at a time and hopefully solve the mystery of the kit that shouldn't exist.
