That cymbal arm you need to finish off your restoration just so happens to be the most rare and elusive parts on all of vintage MIJ.

Ok, so now I feel really stupid but elated at the same time. Just inventoried my parts and I just discovered that I indeed do have the entire cymbal arm assembly! Whoops. I thought I just had the base but went to the box it's all there. So, DrummerJohn I'm all set. Wow!

Fellows! For closure I write ... I have now acquired all that I need to complete this kit! Many thanks to this forum and to all the VDF folk who have lent advice, given parts, sold parts and imparted their good will. Now I'm just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit so that I can repaint the shell interiors. My workshop is still too cold. Can't wait to get this baby assembled!

Hi Doug....Keep up the good work glad you have all the parts. Not sure if i told you i sprayed a grey star interior with car grey primer paint. Did every drum and to tell you the truth no one could tell difference. Well while your renovating im packing another hayman kit for the USA which is being shipped tuesday. Looking forward to the finished pics of your kit.......sean
