Ok. Thanks!
Hi.
I'm arranging a meeting to see the drums in person and make my offer based on facts.
What's the most important things to check on drums speacily about the sound factor? Bearing edges, shell roundness, ... ?
Yes , to all those , they are important but also wrap condition , lifting at seams , hardware condition and heads of course all play into price points good luck ! gary
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp
once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
If you really like the kit, buy it! I would not low ball the seller, you could loose the deal ! As you said they are not easy to come by. It is just money, you can get more of that. However, it might be a while before you see another kit like this one. Just my opinion. Keep on Pl

Please check the inside photos, on first page. The seam appears to have a problem, right?
Thank You!

Thank you for this words. You are right.
Boys - The grommet on the snare looks untouched, if that is the case, it's not going to be a COB. The plating process involves first copper, then nickel/chrome. Most likely what you see in the photo is the -copper layer- showing through the worn off chrome.
Top dollar, I'd offer $800. and go as high as $1000. for the whole thing. Cymbals and stands are a throw-away. The kit itself is worth the money.
John

Hi John. I don't intend to keep the stands and cymbals, I would re-sell them. The thing here is: drums and snare. Anyway, the seller wants to sell the entire pack so I need to consider them.
Did you notice some deformation on shell seam? Please take a look at pictures on first page.
Cheers.
John
Hi guys. I will check the drums in person in a few days.
Need some final help here.
Check the tom tom and floor tom shell pictures.
Do you see any issue that may affect the sound?
