Yo guys I used to collect these. . . the BD hoops are original Sonor Teardrop. You needed a gray piece of rubber for the foot pedal that was curved on the inside to match the con-caved hoop design. They have usually gone for $150 per drum so that price as Blair said is not too high. .

I have found that the bass drum will kill every time, the toms however can be a crap shoot though as they can potentially have one pitch [sweet spot] that sounds nice. Great 50's snare. . .

If and when you go to refurbish be VERY CAREFUL with dis-assembly as the hardware is FICKLE. It is not designed like american drums. The lugs have the threaded rods attched to THEM,you need to then screw on very small nuts w washers. THEY ARE PRONE TO STRIPPING AND BREAKING. . . Use caution and patience when unscrewing these.

The wood is thin beech w no re-rings. . . . Good Luck

all of the German drum companies had their own bag regarding drum sizes. there was some standardization, principally centered around the 360mm Dresdner snaredrum standard but there were all kinds of sizes.; so there is no such thing as metric heads. you have to measure the drums and check with the 3 or so mfg.(Remo,Stabil,Altenberger) that make heads in odd sizes to see if they have them. most of the Sonor sizes and Trixon sizes are likely represented. Sonor and Tromsa switched over to inch sizes in 1959 and Trixon in 1963.

St drums have various dimensions on metric heads around 14".They are about 24$,and they have 4 thickness from o.o75mm(3mil),to 0.250mm(10mil).Heads are smooth,no coated models.
