Great input guys,... thanks !I'm meeting the seller on Thursday so I'll post pictures and serial on Friday.I will keep my eyes open for a COW Floor Tom. There is one on Ebay but I didn't get an answer from the seller yet,... hoping for the best and that he's prepared to ship overseas! The picture shows that the Bass drum has the re-rings so I hope the toms will have them to.Regarding the tom mount, I see what I will do.I'm hoping to use this Slingerland for my weekly rehearsal with the main band.I'm playing 3-piece kits for years now and so used to have a 24" ride where tom2 is supposed to sit. I might just go for a snare-stand or a single tom-arm and leave the second tom.All option are open!Stef

I talked to a guy 100 miles away a few months ago that had a 26" COW BD and I think he had a 18" FT too.......

Wanted $600 for the pair..........I didn't have the $$$.....

Ok,... here they are,...

Badge numbers: 126***, 127*** & 128***.

Badge-shape and sn-numbers should place the drums somewhere early to mid 70's I believe.

Shells are 3-ply with reinforcement rings. (can't wait to hear them)

Although bottom hoops are missing on the toms, the bearings seem to have survived it very well. The shell-constructions appear to be intact and interiors look very clean. In the 14" Tom and 24" bass there's a "P" stamped and in the 14" there's also a number: 4693.

The chrome is rough but defenitely not beyond restoration.

Here and there missing some nuts and bolts and 1 BD T-rod.

So in all, very satisfied with the 200,00 investment.

I NEED A MATCHING FLOOR TOM !!!!!!!!!!

I had a set years ago,and they sounded GREAT!

I think the metal covering adds to the sound........

And you're off and running! I know it'll just be a matter of days until we see the finished product. What a great score, Stef! Just let me know if you need me to receive and ship you the floor tom to make the set complete. The black diamond kit is looking beautiful, by the way...can't wait to play her!

I'd need quite some parts so don't expect a finished kit soon.

I will write the seller again but on the other hand, the drum is dated considerably younger than my stuff so probably they're 5 ply without rings.

I'll ask more details and in case he refuses to ship overseas, I'll give your address. Please PM me that if you want.

The Super Classic is reserved, now what would you like to play for snare sir,...Cool Dude
