Looking for a good place to send them to have them restored. Any suggestions.

13 rack Tom
18 Tom. I am real excited to bang such a big Tom
I reached out to a guy here that was recommended to me. He advised that he usually will cut new edges. He makes many custom drums. Just wondering how this sounds. Any idea what model kit these may have come off. I see the “Hollywood” kit has similar sizes but not color. At least from the old catalogs.
What about the port hole on the bass drum from where the Tom mount goes through ? Is that broken or by design. Sure looks rough.
"Hollywood" was just the name for a particular combination of Ludwig drums. The drums were all the same regardless of what outfit they happened to come with and you were free to make up your own combinations of drums if you wanted to. Any outfit was available in any of the offered wrap colors.
13/18/22 doesn't line up with any of the cataloged outfits although that isn't especially critical. If someone wanted those sizes they could get them as a set. The double tom post on the bass drum would likely indicate that there was a second mounted tom at one time, probably either a 12" or a 14". If the 13" were the only mounted tom then the bass drum would have typically had a rail mount, although that isn't set in stone.
Serial numbers would indicate these were made sometime around 1967.
If the edges are severely damaged they should be redone. If they are in decent shape it is better to leave them alone.
So my floor Tom needs resonance side lugs. What model lugs match these drums. Are they large or standard or small. I’m not sure.
The 13 needs at least 4 screws and washers, for the lugs.
They would be the large lugs
Thank you for the reply. I just stripped the 13 and used headlight restore on the exterior shell. Using this it was pretty easy to get the whole shell to match the area from under the hardware. Pics to come
