The bottom line (on the ears) is shorter in your 30's key just like mine...I see it now. You just have to look at the 'complete' picture.....I couldn't get by the 'scripting.'

Thanks Rod for your patience and to you too Mike.

My 30's WFL toms will tune better now haha.

Gary

Also, look at the left ear in both your key and my 30`s key...See how they have a sharper radius at the bottom of the key? My pic might not show it as good, but, it`s there...The 60`s version key doesn`t have this...Cheers

Mike - an aside (O/T)....I'm using your 12" K Zildjian with my 50's Gretsch orphaned shelled drum kit and have been switching the 13 Gretsch tom out for the 30's 14 and 13 WFL toms. Lots of fun and I really like the Fire-Engine sounding bell. The cymbal fits well with my 18.5 old stamp (IIIb - 53-56) K. Thats again for the sale and the very good price on shipping it to me - much appreciated! Gary

Need to chime in and ask probably a stupid question...but were the super sensitive keys of the era's the same as well?

With respect

Nevin...Very good question...I`m sure there is a key, but, I don`t have one in my collection from that era...I do have a 60`s version and newer, but, not older...

Maybe, some of the other key collectors will chime in...

Cheers
