For the key mentioned I'd say late 1920s to at least 1930, but that style key was probably into the 1950s-60s as chrome was first introduced in the L&L 1929-30 catalog and there after...

Pay attention to the very top shaft of the key...Yours is more domed shaped, thus, putting it earlier than the 50's or 60's...

It's hard to tell if there is or is not a 'dome' on the top of the last photo I provided (from the web link). If you look closely at that photo, in front of the shadows...it does look like there is a dome on that key as well. I could be wrong but it's what I'm seeing as I look closer at the photo. I do have old eyes though.....

It Could just be the way the photo was taken that you can't clearly see the dome as in mine. I took my photo from a slightly above angle.

to me the style of the script writing on the earlier ones is just different than the 60's all together. ive got some of each.
