Missing floor tom? Will I be able to find one. Or, is this one of those kits that came without the floor tom, I cant renember what they are called.

That snare alone is probably worth a pretty penny being 8 lug and all and assuming no major issues.

They're called "Combo".

Later versions came with Acrolites or Pioneer snares so this one must be early because this is a Jazz Festival if I'm not mistaken!. (1959 to 1962).

If you can get them for less than 300, it's a smokin' deal. The snare alone is a Jazz Fest and in that color likely worth 400 or more if in good condition. The "missing floor tom" may not be missing, this config is called the "Combo". It is the same drums as the C/D minus the floor tom. That color is one of the classy wraps, like WMP or Chhamp sp.

Go check it out and as part of the dealing point out that the front hoop, T's, and claws are missing. It also appears that part of the rail consolette and "L" arm is missing to mount the tom. Point out what's missing/incomplete about the kit to him and counter offer at $250 or something like that.
