He says there is a 16" Beverly cymbal and two unknown hi hats with it. He is calling the cymbals vintage.

Thank you!

So there's some questionable cymbals included. Is there any hardware included? Flatbase cymbal stands, etc.? That could definitely sweeten the deal.

Lets assume this is a club date and is missing the floor tom. I am interested in this just for the joy of restoring old drums. I do not worry about labor. If I pay this guy 400.00 asking price. Will I be able to at least get my 400 back after finding and purcahsing the missing parts. I do not intend to keep them for myself although I could very easily change my mind when complete. Basically, is this a good investment for 400. ? Thanks everyone!

[quote]If you can get them for less than 300, it's a smokin' deal. The snare alone is a Jazz Fest and in that color likely worth 400 or more if in good condition. The "missing floor tom" may not be missing, this config is called the "Combo". It is the same drums as the C/D minus the floor tom. That color is one of the classy wraps, like WMP or Chhamp sp.[quote]

If the snare drum is in good condition, $400 is a fair deal, allowing you to realize a small profit if and when you flip them.

Good condition being rust, pitting minimal. What about the wraps, if they are faded but no lifting or damage do you consider that good condition. Or, does the wrap need to be bright and shinny

The strap on the consolette appears to be the 60s logo teeth bearing type. That's a good one!

What does that mean exactly? I am new at this. Am going to see the drums today and trying to know what to look for when I get there. So thanks again everyone, you have been very helpful.
