Well my current Ludwig kit is not as purty as most of the ones here, but they do sound fantastic.
It's the show off your Ludwigs thread...post them if you've got them!
Ludwig '71 Carioca.
- 20" BD, 13" and 14" timbales, 16" floor tom
- Supraphonic 400 snare
I got this from my father when he passed away. I belive everything 100% original, except the front hoop and T-rods of the BD wich I added since there was none.

My Ludwig Acrolite and Standard. I know they are not the rarest but I absolutely love my Acrolite.

I just noticed that we have 4,441 views currently on this thread alone. Wow! The mojo is right here!
Here are my babies...
I picked them up impulsively off CL two years ago and this is the 2nd kit I've ever owned. (first was a low grade 90s pearl) This kit started the vintage bug for me and man has it been great to be part of this forum and very grateful to play and bring some life back into these unbelievable pieces of American craftsmanship.
I have a Ludwig 70's 18" floor that I'm going to re wrap is Silver Sparkle as an add on. I picked up the Pioneer snare (LOVE IT!) two months ago...also 1967 w/white interiors.
1967 Silver Sparkle Hollywood (white interiors)...I still can't believe what I picked them up for...
Update:
Thought I'd post the newest ... got it a couple of weeks ago. Neato fun.
