I'll keep coming here every day. I like the information and searching old posts. Facebook groups are full of anonymous cards that I don't respect the opinion of.

I check a few times a week to see what’s going on and I have posted a question.

I also check what’s for sale since I have a set I have been wanting to post for a few months now but I’m not sure how the market is.

1960s Ralston (Star) set in Red Agate Pearl 12/12/16/20
1961 Ludwig Cocktail Lounge drum 24 x 16 in blue sparkle
1966 Ludwig Hollywoods in Sky Blue Pearl 12/13/16/22
1971 Ludwig Super Classics in Blue Sparkle 13/16/22
1976 Ludwig Vistalites in Blue 13/14/16/22
70s/80s Ludwig orphans in Black Cortex "Bonham" style 14/16/18/20/26 (B/O Badges)

I check here once a week, maybe twice, Howie, but I'm pretty much done with this place. It's a morgue. The forum owner doesn't care anymore and won't do anything to make it better. I put in feelers to buy the site and the domain and didn't even get the courtesy of a response.

I used to check in multiple times a day. Now it is multiple days or even a week or two between check ins. There isn't much action anymore and it's a bit like chanel surfing and running across a soap opera you haven't seen in years and seeing it's the same storyline with a handful of people bickering over the same things. I used to learn so much from this site, not so much anymore.

I read the site however rarely post on it. It appears to have shrunk over the past few years. I feel I have a lot to contribute as a result of generous knowledge shared here however many posts are duplicated from a more active enthusiast site so I typically just write there.

Yes, I've just advised Johnny Ringo to trade a Sonor kit for some Ludwig Standards.

Present. I think with facebook now having so many drum sites now, it's taken alot of the folks that would of come here for advice, This is still a great drum forum.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

I like to check in every few days to see whats new. Yes there are a lot of Face book drum groups but I just dont like the format on Face book and how its laid out. I feel that this forum has some real intelligent people that are graciously giving their best advice to just about anyone who asks for it. I dont see that on Face book, just short little one line or one word responses. I am very happy to be a part of this community even though I do not post as often as i used to. One reason for that is time, I need to spend my time wisely and that means playing drums, not talking about them. I have met a lot of cool people here over the years and learned so much form them. I value this forum and will continue to monitor it years to come. I will agree with the picture download issues and have to admit that I have posted my latest projects elsewhere because of it. But in a nut shell, this is a great place to meet nice folks and learn about vintage drums!

Thank you!
