70’s Rogers Butcher Block

These are for sale locally. I’ve always liked the Ludwig butcher block wrap, but know nothing about Rogers. If any of the experts could tell me what to look for I’d appreciate it. He’s going to get back to me on what type snare it is. No cymbals or stands are included.

Thanks.

You should scoop that up quickly, before someone else does. The only weakness are the cast collet noses, which can easily be replaced with machined ones.

Those are in really nice condition

I do NOT need any more drums...but, for $500 I'd probably be inclined to buy these! They look to be in really nice condition! As noted above, all this needs are 6 machined collet noses (two for the tom holder, two for the toms and two for the bass drum spurs) and you're good to go!

Any idea if the snare drum still has the frame underneath?

Thanks everyone. The seller isn’t available until next week, but it sounds like I’m the only person who has inquired so far, and they’ve been up for two weeks. I told him I’m very interested and can meet sooner if something changes on his end.

I don’t know anything about the snare other than what’s in the picture, so unfortunately don’t know if it’s complete. Am I correct that the snare is a Dynasonic?

The snare does look like a Dynasonic from that limited picture. That whole package is a steal for $500.

What a deal. Nice looking drums. I myself get a little nervous when time passes on a potential deal. I've often been scooped for being patient. Even at the risk of being somewhat annoying, I'd do my best to keep my name in front of the seller. Good luck!
