While I am a new kid to this site. I have had a love for old American drum sets ; since I started playing in 1966. Figured I ought to show the latest one that found me a couple months ago. This Rogers set was bought new by a local drummer, who passed away 2 years ago. It’s an all original Top Hat kit. Hopefully my pictures post correctly this time!

This is my newest drum set purchase it is a unique Rogers Dayton era 12/13/16/22 set that was originally covered in what was known as Fender Blue Flower guitar wrap which was removed by the drum shop that I bought the drums from in Oregon. Underneath the wrap were 2 unfinished natural maple drums (13" & 22") and 2 unfinished Wildwood drums (12" & 16"). I now have a 1/2 & 1/2 set which I plan to put a clear finish on the drums more or less to protect them and hopefully not to alter the existing color. Not sure what to use but I am eventually going to send the drums to Jack Lawton to do the job.
