This is an incredibly cool looking kit! Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but did you reverse the tom mount, or is that how it was designed for this configuration? I've never seen that before.
I tend to think there is no stupid questions when it come to drums.
In this case it was me that put it reversed because I liked the positioning with the long tom arm but in reality there is soooo many ways to mount on this kit I actually put it this way by mistake. But it was comfortable to me so it stayed. It would be easy enough to switch but I like to give you OCD guys something to talk about. LOL .
It never ceases to amaze me how great eyes OCD drummers have.
The small arm offset it too much for my liking on the lower side collet and Romulus is correct I think the snare could be mounted on the lower mount if you have that config.
I have seen snares with the collets on them and hang off bass drum.
The ride mount is where I have it now and I put a splash on the middle front also when I am feeling funky. Walking
