Now it is my Speed King.It had a squeak that didn't go away after 2 re-grease jobs, and oiled every moveable part.I threw in a new plastic sleeve on the connector pin. STILL SQEEKED.I put it away and got it out a few months ago and damn if the squeak went away.It is a pleasure to use.V

I have had a couple Tama pedals over the years. Seem too heavy to me. I severely busted my leg down by my ankle and ever since then I have limited range of motion on the right foot. Now, I'm tired of fighting with my foot so am looking for something light and responsive - I think I'm going back to the Speed King. Great thread!!

A Premier Swingster still going from the 1940's. I use lots of other pedals which i sell on but this one is the pedal i love to use.... I love it.
I've used an Axis double pedal pretty much exclusively since 1993. The one I bought in '93 is on my Rogers kit as a single pedal (the slave driveshaft broke a few years back), and the second one I purchased in 2007 for my heavily gigged e-kit.
And I've been using a DW 5000 on the DW kit at my church since I started playing there in November.
