Slingerland Radio King WMP project kit........

I started getting the 15" shell back together today. The batter side re ring was seperated pretty much all the way around. So a good glue wick and clamp session was in order today. Since my son has stock in the clamp company :) I went on over to his shop to use them again. Once this side is dry tomorrow I need to glue the seam a touch on the reso side. Drum is in round clamped so that's cool. Here's some pics.............

First pic just shows the seperation of the re ring. Rest are after it was glued and clamped up nice.

Man, all those spring clamps and C clamps, it's a drum restorers dream to have that many clamps available. I see the Japanese back-cut saw on the wall! One of my favorite cutting tools. Nice shop, nice job. This is a fun project to follow. The only things missing is a beer and a doob! Otherwise perfect. :p

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Thanks Jeff he's doing pretty good. He's on BP meds for now till his pressure remains stable. He always calls me the old pain in the a$$ but we have fun together. :) If I'm not there he talks to himself so at least I'm there to listen. Laughing H
