the other side, I just have only seen pre serial 602's with that swirly type of lathing, especially compared to the Avedis on his right aka THE Crash

I think those are video stills.

It is possible, and I won't rule it out for that reason.

But one thing I can tell you is that in "The Modern Drummer" interview when Ringo was asked which cymbals he played, he stated 'Avedis, but it's a personal choice'....'an old Avedis is the best cymbal'.

So if he ever did in fact throw a 602 into his set-up, he certainly never admitted to it.

I only wonder because my 19'' Armand beautiful baby, sans rivets made in 2004, is the closest to Ringo's cymbal I have come across. Of course it was bought blind so it goes... here is a quick iPhone recording but I plan on making a recording with a proper Beatles recording set up including; AKG D19 mono overhead, Tascam analog board, fairchild etc. plug ins, and maybe a touch of my Altec modded compressor. Sorry dude. I think I bought that 18" Super Zyn. It's the old stamp, 50's type with flatter profile just like Drumaholic mentioned. This cymbal is very Ringo. I'm going to put a video up soon.

Here we have a recording I slapped together of a Super-Zyn 18" Small stamp with the very flat profile and hand hammering. Possibly owned by Ringo? :) Wouldn't that be something?!

I'm playing one-handed with some original Tosco Hats from the 70's and a K Con medium thin high plus Ludwig COB snare. It's by no means a professional recording, but it'll give an idea of the crash that Ringo used to play?
