Remo Classic Fit

Anyone seen these? I, for one, am excited. I'm not a particularly big fan of Aquarian American Vintage heads and Evans seem to lack the liveliness and richness of Remos but it's a real struggle to fit and tune them on my 40s Slingerland. So Remo goes and makes coated and clear Ambassadors as well as a fibreskyn diplomat with a thinner collar; what you get is the classic coated ambassador with a wider inside diameter to factor shell sizing and roundness issues but the same width outer diameter so the head still works normally with your rims. Get these bad boys to Australia already.

I think these will sell like hotcakes! I love them for the look and the logo if nothing else. I've had to use the other brand heads for the oversize deal a time or two. But I've always been happier with good old Remo heads. Looking forward to trying a couple.

I'll be interested to try these. Still, seems like Remo is playing catch-up with the Evans Level 360 head. I've been using the Level 360 on drums that the Remo has a hard time fitting. But, it will good to have a choice and I'll be able to compare the heads. Thanks, Remo!

Will we see Aquarian Texture Coated in their larger hoop style too?

Never play it the same way once.

Warning ... Avoid member statuscymbal here, vintage_collector on DFO , and americanpatriot10 on eBay. Email me for his name. All are the same shady guy who has burned me and a list of other members on both boards . He is also selling on Facebook too ..

I'd like to repeat Creighton's question: How soon will these be available? I like the tone of the Aquarian American Vintage heads on my snare drums, but as you stated, Cam, they sounded a tad flat on my toms. Also, I've found that regular Remo collars aren't much smaller than the American Vintage...and I have a Radio King shell that an American Vintage is a tight fit on.
