Hey! I'm from the very Southwestern part of NC right next to Polk Co., TN. Where you be from, friend, if I may ask? Guitar Dude Man
Where is introduction part of forum?
Hey folks. I'm new here, and have used your forum to help me through a 3 month binge of drastically changing my drum situation. My band plays on backlined kits, but i started a new project and wanted to come correct with it, so after getting a kit that was decidedly not vintage, I got two 50s slingerland student radio kings, a 70s slingerland COS snare and just recently a 65 slingerleedy walnut stained 20" kick and 6 1/2 snare. I've been recording in another state on a 65 jam master kit, and these look and sound just like those suckers. if i ever find a floor tom for it, i will be a happy man.
Hello all!
I seem to have found what has become the introduction thread for newbies. I joined the site today because I recently acquired a 1962 (believe it's a 1962) WMP pre-serial keystone badge set. 9x13, 16x16, 14x22. Will post pictures soon! Just bought it from Steve Maxwell's in NY, and it's my first vintage kit. Needs a bit of work, but it's a beauty!
Nice to meet everyone!

Hello everyone! I'm new here but see some familiar faces around from other forums. Picking up a vintage Rogers kit tomorrow and I came here to get schooled. Not sure if I'm going to work on it or flip it.... leaning more in the direction of flipping as the sizes are just not what I'm usually into. Pic's and a thread to come. Till then, thanks for having me!

Hello to all!
My name is Will Tucker and I live in Memphis, TN. I have been playing music on Beale St and the surrounding areas for the past 8 years primarily as a guitar player. Though I am known as a guitar player, I have always had a strong passion for drums. Currently I own two "new" kits - a Ludwig black oyster 22-13-16 kit and Sakae Trilogy 24-13-16-18. My introduction to vintage drums has been a WFL orphan kit that I have assembled recently in sizes 28-13-16. I also recently acquired a 20's Ludwig & Ludwig 14x26 that I hope to reassemble into a period correct trap outfit.
I am now on the hunt for a Slingerland Stage Band kit. Great to be on board here!
