What a beautiful kit, I want one! I love that theatre, must be great to play in places like that, we play in dingy bars and a lot of outdoor gigs lately. Neither of which have nice acoustics, especially for drums.
JR!
THANK YOU!, and glad you enjoyed! You wrote "I want one"... indeed!
Regarding the theater: You are one of the guy's here that gigs a lot!, and I think that's great!... and not that easy to do either based on just what there are for venue's to play. I am so blessed with the Sinatra Show as it's an actual show vs. a "club band" .. thus .. we get to play the slightly higher end venues, dates, etc. A lot of these are paid seating which just blows me away. But, "Frank" is very good, he connects with the audience, and they love him. The backing band is very good too!, so you put it all together and we end up doing a lot of these type venues, plus get paid. We just did a small club/bar two weeks ago. Just your typical club/bar, but the owner had seen us this summer at one of the outdoor shows we played, and had to have us in his club. It was a BLAST!, as the people were just great!, and he met our monetary compensation requirements, so we did the gig. Point being, it's ALL GOOD as long as you're making music, having a good time doing it, and getting compensated for your time/talents. I would say that YOU are doing just that! When you hit one with an exceptional stage and acoustics, it is indeed very special!
