Another Bass drum just landed on my lap..this is an early WFL 24" like new calfskins both sides.
Are we talking double bass with the vintage Luddys?,now that would be cool. Please don`t tell me you found it near that same dumspter or i`ll be one my way to your neighbourhood.Great find heavenelvis!

No..Wayne WFL came from a estate sale..was up in the attic..I wanted it because it was a true 24" so I could put a modern batter head on it to play it once in a while..the Ludwig is odd 23-1/2 didn't want to play the original Calf skins..I am sure they are a little brittle. If I find another small mahogany tom..you might see some pics of a vintage double bass kit.
Can I just say, that is as cool as cool gets. Ultimate vintage mojo. Dig it!

This has got to be one of the coolest kits I've seen. I want one.
I noticed your kit earlier..you had the same idea..perfect for a throw back band..that is what I bring mine out for..a 60's Surf Band at Classic Car shows..fun.

A friend of mine just dropped off a 15" x 12" Gretsch 1950 all original (badge and all) tenor tom. I am going to refinish it and throw it beside the 14" Yeah!!! But i have to punch holes in it for leg brackets....
