My philosophy is drums are meant to be played..not just looked at..you won't find to many marching tenor drums in a drum museum (snares maybe)..so make it into something you can use.. love your bass drum..just looks cool as hell!

From drumfx

A friend of mine just dropped off a 15" x 12" Gretsch 1950 all original (badge and all) tenor tom. I am going to refinish it and throw it beside the 14" Yeah!!! But i have to punch holes in it for leg brackets....

I have been looking everywhere for a 12" old marching tenor or snare..been told they never made them..that is what I want for a ride tom..might have to have one made..let me know if you ever come across one..just need the mahogany with horizontal grain and not to many holes punched in it..don't care if it has been painted..I have hardware.

Can you tell me about the floor tom legs? They look like the spring loaded club date legs, yes? Thanks

Your Right Pat...picked them up on Ebay...don't see them around to much anymore..I thought they added to the vintage look..they aren't the sturdiest but won't go anywhere..
