All of the badges are identical to the Bass Drum Badge. They are imprinted (slight indentation) but not deeply engraved. It has the numbers 711 stamped inside the shell behind the badges.

That stamp should date them to November 1967, if I am not misinformed.

I think you`re right mangus.

Mystery time:

Look at the footprint of the BD mount, it doesn`t look like the .."boat" mount type Sonor was useing by then. Looks more like yours turnned sideways or something but I don`t know the hole pattern of your type !i

PBoogieBrown,..can you give us another pic of the badge on the BD without the flash so it`s more ledgable to us ? The imprint to the edge of the badge don`t make sense to me now !i

Yes I'll take a few more pics. Someone had put a a Rodgers tom mount on the bass drum. I took it off. Doesn't look like they drilled any additional holes. I can still see the imprint of the original mount. Looks like a a boats sail.
