Guess you're a non-smoker? My wife would have told me (... §'$\ß%*#...), if I'd place a smoky drumset in our living room - even not for the excuse of just wanting to take some pics ... :D

Ralf

NB: may I say that $ 1,700 are a steep price for the kit? :2Cents:

Are all the shells Mahogany? (if you said so I didn't catch it.) Those are going to sound so sweet. What heads did you plan on using? Coated Ambassadors would be cool or calf.

Ralf,

the guy paid $1,300 without cymbals in 1975 for this kit.

In todays money, you would have to easily double or maybe triple that!

I got 2 Lokfast cymbal stands also,2 kind of messed up Speed Kings,1 REALLY messed up SK, and the 12 tom was not in the pics.....a friend had it.

Also,got a 1960's 22" A.Zil Medium Ride.....

I have thought a while on this, and think I want to do it.......

I have a line on a early 70's, Premier 303 >(model) kit in Burgundy Pearl that I am itching to get.

14 by 22,8 by 12,8 by 14,16 by 16......No extra holes.

In doing so,I will need to sell this kit I just got.

Would anyone have an interest in it?

It won't be real cheap to ship.....I can do it in 3 boxes though.....

It will entail lots of bubble wrap/popcorn tape etc also.

Question.....shall I sell as is,or pull the 14 by 14 out of it,and sell as a standard 2-22,12,13,16?

I know a guy keen on the 14 by 14 already in Ohio.....He has 9 Premier kits he said!

..............................................................................................................................................

BTW......I took the 2 BD's apart to clean, and I notice that almost ALL of the claws are split............some real bad, some just starting.......is that typical of these drums?

I already have found someone in England that has all 32 claws I would need, but wants 96 Pounds, plus ship.

Thats around $150 US........good deal,or can I do better?
