Have a double bass 1976 Premier kit coming in tomorow!

You could split it into 2 kits, might be an easier to sell them that way and maybe make a few $ more than you would as one kit. Although it would be a shame to break up a family.

Oh man, this kit is TOO SWEET.

I would love to have that 14x14 myself, although I wouldn't want to split up that family either!

My problem is I have a double-kick Ludwig kit already, as well as a 4-pc Premier rock kit that looks JUST LIKE THESE.

Man, hanging out on this forum can be EXPENSIVE!

Blairndrums, I am wondering what you'd ask for the whole kit. Just don't tell my wife.

UPDATE:

I SAW PICS OF THE PREMIER BURGUNDY PEARL,AND IT HAS EXTRA HOLES FROM A PEARL DOUBLE TOM MOUNT.............

GAG..........

So,I am going to pass on those, and keep the 22,13,16 in Black and POSSIBLY the 14 by 14 FT.....and sell off the extra 22 and 12............

If I don't like the 14-14 with the 22,13,16,I will sell that separate........

I think you should keep it all. You'll have a setup that's totally versatile for any setting, venue and musical style. Four piece setup for small gigs or jazz, Six or 8 for big clubs, concert/shows. You'll kick yourself later if you sell pieces off.

I'm seriously considering it!

Don't know what to ask though...

This is only the second 14" Premier FT I have had in 25 years of selling vintage drums!

ANY input from The Team would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I just spent the last 4 hrs dismantling the parts off the shells, and Novus polishing the shells.

Still need to do the second BD.........ran out of Novus!Sumo Dude

They are coming out very good-ex.Clapping Happy2

The guy I got them from wouldn't even recognize them now.

Just have to drop around $200 on new heads, and get the broken BD claws replaced......I am good to go!Car Driving2

I have this kit in white with 22s and the 8x14 tom that i was interested in selling....but this talk of breaking up the kit:( makes me think I'll keep it. All original double bass premier kits rarely show up.....
