Nice stuff!

I used the same kind of veneer (paper backed) which was recommended for drum shells. My dream is to cover a kit in Walnut or Bubinga paper-backed veneer, with an oiled or high gloss finish. Can't make my mind up on the finish!?!?

What is your finish on the maple veneered Rocker?

Jeff, Just got back from the veneer thread, I had never seen that one. I don't know if it's just because I love seeing good craftsmanship or inventive uses of existing tools, but I got a huge kick out of how you used the rollers and fence on the thickness planer to roll the shell as you laminate the veneer (or wrap if you were wrapping,) to the shell. Just bloody brilliant stuff. Tickles me to see it.

Now, if I only had a full blown, fully equipped wood working shop to mess around in, I could do some serious damage! LOL

Great stuff, Jeff.

Too many great drums to list here!

In fact I just came in from glazing 15 out of 49 cabinet doors and its 7:38. OK, see ya later its Monday Night Football. P.S. football don't count, lol.Jeff CJohn
